i loved the hotel's great location for walking into town. it's right next door if you're seeing a show at the palace theatre. the hotel was superb.
the reception staff did not recognise my ihg loyalty. they also didn't welcome me in any way to the hotel. it was a functional check-in, just making sure they had my credit card details.

the breakfast was delicious and set me up for a day of sightseeing. complementary drinks were available in the evening between 5 and 6 pm. i found this to be a wonderful touch.

I enjoyed the lively bar as it featured a DJ that created a great atmosphere and had a bar snack menu. Breakfast provided plenty of choice and was very good. The staff was helpful and rooms were great. The breakfast was excellent.
I found that some aspects of the room's decor could be more considered, aligning with other hotels. There were not enough chairs for everyone to sit comfortably and eat room service.

I really enjoyed the grandeur of the building. the reception staff were very cute. Andrea arranged our room requests with true professionalism. the bathroom in my room was amazing, and the room itself was furnished to a very high standard with an immaculate condition.
A slight negative would be small grey signs. They made navigation challenging, especially from the reception area to the restaurant.
